Hi, just wondering if there is a way that one can identify a Colt A2 grip in a pile of otherwise similar grips. I have at least 12 of them, and I know 2 are Colts. Just not sure of how to tell. Is there any markings inside that would identify it? (Besides what one would see as an obvious "C" marked inside?)
Thanks. Mike B |

There appears to have been several vendors (or molds) that supplied grips to Colt and they all seem to be marked differently.
The only way I can tell (sometimes) is by looking at the texture of the surface. Most of the non-Colt grips are smoother or shinier than Colt grips. |
