Hi, just wondering if there is a way that one can identify a Colt A2 grip in a pile of otherwise similar grips. I have at least 12 of them, and I know 2 are Colts. Just not sure of how to tell. Is there any markings inside that would identify it? (Besides what one would see as an obvious "C" marked inside?)
Thanks.

I believe they may be marked with an "E".

I have one marked with a "2" on one side of the screw hole, and an "F" on the other side... Another grip I have is marked "PS" inside. Most of the others are unmarked. Just wondering, the nicest is the "PS" one.

There appears to have been several vendors (or molds) that supplied grips to Colt and they all seem to be marked differently.
The only way I can tell (sometimes) is by looking at the texture of the surface.
Most of the non-Colt grips are smoother or shinier than Colt grips.

The non Colt grips are more "plastic y" and usually have sharp angles and extra material in places. These are definitely not USGI click and click . This is what a Colt A2 grip looks like:

The Colt grips are thicker too, and if they're new usually have some powder on/in them kinda ike some latex gloves have.
