Is this a Colt Carry Handle ? Looks like A 1 on the right side in front of the site. Bought for $45.00 at a gun shop , They had it marked COLT. Thank You for any reply.

The "A1" forge mark has been sent with Factory Colt rifles so it very well could be a Colt part. Many of us have had Colt Carry handles with various similar forge markings. The last 2 I owned had a A7 and a A8 mark. I have seen the A1 forge mark on some A3 Tactical Carbines back in the mid 90s. JohnM at Home |
