Anybody knows the details of this model, are they just a limited run or a new production model?

I've been looking at it at usautoweapons.com for over a year now but always out of stock but they have some now.

They indicated that it have a permed FS with a 16" legal barrel length but from their pics seems that they're using a standard A2 FS, maybe they're using a 14.7" barrel?

Also they said it's on a M4LE 6921 lower marked receiver.

It's too bad that I just bought my 6721, if I had seen this before I would have bought it, oh well maybe just the upper half later on when available.

Pinning a standard flash hider on a colt  M4 barrel will not get it exactly up to 16”. They could have cut down a 16" barrel to 14.7 and pined it.

The barrel is not cut down. The compensator is custom. It is about a half an inch longer than the stock unit. Specialized Armament is making them for the California market.

Looks like a spacer behind the A2 FH, the "skim cut" area behind the FH looks much longer than on a standard M4 with A2 FH.  My guess would either be a separate spacer, or a custom A2 that includes a threaded spacer.

I agree.  Why would this be?

The "spacer" is turned to the same diameter as the skim cut.  Again, sounds like a custom threaded spacer, and SAW is more than capable of having these made as custom one-piece units and it would solve the problem of losing threads when installing a spacer on a 14.5" barrel.  All in all, looks like a good job.

Nice!  Pic below looks great

BTW
Now  Rudy how many AR`S do  you have now

I would  like a rack grade  6921 upper myself.

Yes Rich the 6921 SA looks nice and a lot less trouble to buy because it already had been removed from the SBR registry and a better looking custom A2 FS are permanently installed.

If I can't get an upper like that I could also settle for a rack grade 6921 upper and just send it to ADCO for a long type FS installation.

Did you sent your 14.5" LMT upper to ADCO for FS work?

I only have five AR at the moment, a lot less than some of these guys here but I'm slowly building up my stable.

I've got my FrankenColt A2 clone with a USGI M16A2 Colt upper on top of a Match Target HBAR lower, older 6721 which I bought separately the upper and the lower because they were very hard to find in early 2005 right after the AWB law expired.

My 16" LMT M4gery, RRA A4 flat top 16" 9mm carbine which I put together the lower myself and lastly (but not my last for sure) is my new 6721 which I got at a good price from my local dealer New Frontier Armory (they're also an ARFCOM sponsor listed at the industry section) mid March.

Try a Sabre Defense extended A2 hider on a 14.5 and you'll make 16. Will also mount a bayonet just like a std  A2.

This, I remember when these were up on SAW's website.  It's a custom, one piece A2 style compensator/suppressor made from bar stock. It's pinned, welded and refinished, and the aft end is extended and machined to match the turned down area on the barrel and give you 16.1" of barrel length.  There's no spacers or washers, it's all one piece.

ETA:  If you look closely in the pic CAC01 posted, you can see the line where the barrel ends and the compensator begins.  Also note, there are no wrench flats on the rear ring of the compensator.

Precisely, using the one being sold with the integrated FH will not allow the bayo to sit on the rear ring of the FH.

Using the standard 6921 barrel w/the SDI extended FH will allow the correct mount of a bayo.
