Can someone direct me to a dealer that has Colt LPKs in stock? It looks like Specialized Armament does but I could have sworn I saw some somewhere at $180.00

Thanks in advance for your help.

Actually I did look there earlier. They want $214.00 but they throw in an accu-wedge. WTF?

I'm still trying to save that $20 bucks. I could have sworn I saw them somewhere for $180 but I may be wrong. I'm not usually this cheap but times are tough........

Thanks for the suggestion

Cripes, I've never paid more than $125.00 for a carded Colt LPK, but my local FFL says he can't get them anymore

I just did some looking around and the Colt LPK situation is indeed pretty grim. I'm down to my last two unopened small pin Colt LPKs, plus whatever I have in my spare parts box.

For those who have never seen one, this is what a Colt LPK in retail packaging looks like:

There used to be vendors who would tear down lower halves and sell the LPKs as a set, but you always had to be careful and be sure of what you were getting. Hex head pistol grip retaining screws (instead of slotted), and selectors that had an indicator line on the right hand side were the two easiest telltales that the parts weren't genuine.

RGuns used to sell them that way years ago, as did my local FFL

Colt's Match Trigger Kit (#SPK94774) was packaged the same way:

So why all the shortages?  Has it always been like this, or is it a sudden occurrence lately?  I have never build anything, so never paid attention to parts availability (and never break anything, either even after tens of thousands or rounds - that's why I love my Colts).

i imagine  the war productions has taken a lot of their time  up so makin spares has fallen away for now

I found one for $180.00 at  G&R Tactical  Looks like they still some in stock if anyone's interested.

Never used a Colt LPK in a build before. I figured I'd try it and see what all the fuss was about. (JK, I have 2 6920's so I know) This LPK is going in a Noveske M4 lower that will have a pinned 14.5 BMC upper on it. More big boy toys......

Thanks I think so too. I already have the BCM upper and right now it's mounted on my favorite lower. Shoot's great. The final build will be the BCM upper, the Noveske lower with the Colt LPK and an LMT Sopmod stock. That's it. I'm going to shoot the hell out of it. I've got lot's of AR's with all kinds of shit hanging off of them that I don't use. I'm back to center with this build.....

My two 6920's will some day soon go, unfired, to my boys. To my oldest when he get's his wings and to my youngest when he get's out of the Corps.

Sounds like a good plan to me

My daughter is enjoying the hell out of her LE6920, which warms my heart as a dad

To this day I've never owned a Noveske product, though I should probable change that given their reputation for quality. I'm a huge BCM fan though-I have no idea how Paul sets the bar so high for quality given the modest prices.
