[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt Post-Ban LEO production changes

Can someone tell me when each of these changes were made in the production of Post-Ban and LEO (1994-2004) Colt rifles...
-Trapdoor in buttstock changed from metal to plastic.
-Stopped putting proofs on upper receiver.
-Left web of metal behind hammer in lower receiver rather than pinning in a block.
-Added the Resricted Warning on lower receiver of LEO rifles.

They were supposed to do it in 94 after the AWB took place, There were 134 Tactical Carbines that were pre-ban, I've seen them into the 3000 range with no restricted markings, as for exactly when it became standard practice I really dont know

I don't know when they went to plastic trapdoors, but they've since gone back. Current guns have metal again.

I have two LBDxxxxx serial numbered AR15A3 Tactical Carbines.

One is LBD21xxx and has the restricted markings on the right side of the mag well as you would expect.

The other one is LBD18xxx and does not have the restricted markings.

I thought that this was rather odd given the fairly high serial number.

OK, I just pulled the handguards and found a date 11/99 on the barrel. Is this the month/year of barrel manufacture or rifle assembly?
