| Does anyone out there know if Colt plans to offer their rail gun in 9mm? Thanks |

Quoted:
Colt's been known for small runs of all kinds of configurations, and as I recall it has been a while since they made a 5" 9mm. . Never say never, stopped at my LGS and what do i see in the magical glass case but a Brand New current production 9mm Colt Government 1911,series 80.Sales guy said they had just received it and were expecting a few more..... |
| I've seen about 3-4 over the last 2 months at LGSs. Apparently the latest Talo Exclusive, which is pretty cool. I never saw any of the recent Talo Exclusives out in the wild.. Concealed Carry Gov't, W.C. Commander or Gov't... Best of luck in finding what your looking for. |

Quoted: You could buy the talo limited edition or an older series 70 or 80 and add a Dawson rail or the no gun smithing sure fire adaptor How do those SF adaptors hold up? I have been interested in them but I think they are aluminum. I think they replace the pin that goes through the barrel link. Seems like it would get beat up quickly. |

Considering the slide catch is still steel I imagine just fine. |

The light sits way lower than it than it would on a railed frame or Dawson adapter. |

Quoted: Still a good option, and Safariland makes duty and drop leg holsters for the MR07/X200 combo(should fit the x300 as well). I'm probably going to do this since I love my ORM 1991A1 and don't really have a desire to upgrade to a newer 1911. http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu321/Pentagon556/guns/1911/colt19119-13-1001.jpg Be advised: It will leave scuff marks in the finish, primarily along the dust cover. I can show you what marks it left where, on my Combat Elite's frame. |
