| I hear that Colt will stop distributing their rifles to the civilian market soon. Is there any truth to that or is it something dealers say to pressure buys? Sorry I just don't know with the election coming nothing is "unbelievable". |
Let me guess, some asshat at a gunshow or a gunshop said that, right? Second guess is that said asshat is a dealer for BM, RRA, or Stag. How am I doing? |
| Im sorry but I forgot where I heard it. It may have had something to do with the big bad ban scare. I got a 6920 marked LE/military. If they ever stopped all Colts would Skyrocket in price right? Do you think we'll have to deal with another ban? I'm buying any stripped lower I can geat for a good deal. I saw an article that discussed this and said do it for the children. Thats my excuse to my wife for having 3 ARs. |

Well i would say it is pressure from a sales person but yet again our country takes more and more power from the people every year, so I would not totally discount another stupid ban. I tell people who are thinking about buying a AR do it now before the Government oversteps their power again. I work for the government (US Army) and the Democrats and their socialist control and the way our country's turning more of a tyrant type of Government is even scaring us. Load up on ammo and weapons, if the dem take office we are screwed. "Does the government fear us? Or do we fear the government? When the people fear the government, tyranny has found victory. The federal government is our servant, not our master!" -Thomas Jefferson |
Price in largely in part determined by availability vs demand. I strongly believe anyone who actually wants a Colt rifle has one. So, value should not go down, even if the market is flooded with 6920's. |
