I have a new Colt match target lower, can I use a bushmaster upper on it?

More than likely YES, some older Colts had a larger front pivot pin, (if the front on yours is the same size as the rear take-down pin then your good to go).

I had an SP-1 lower upon which I put a Bushmaster M4 upper. Needed a offset pin that enabled the small holed upper to fit on the large holed lower. It was inexpensive and worked well.

Yes, it can be done.
The AR in the pic is a BM upper on a Colt lower (small pivot pin) using the Colt bolt.

I have a friend looking to do the opposite. A bushmaster lower with a Colt M4 upper. Does anybody know if that would work alright?
