Had another thread going, but it got sidetracked, and this is an entirely different issue anyhow. I would like to know if someone can tell me how to send an AR15 item in for repair, warranty/replacement/etc? I mean, does Colt have a regular Customer Service department that handles ALL issues such as this? OR, is there a seperate customer service department for AR15 issues, and pistol/handgun/etc issues??? Just trying to determine the process for sending an AR15 item in? (not referring to an FFL item), but rather, just a couple parts, and possibly an upper one day. Anyhow, does one need a Return Authorization number to send items to Colt, or does one just ship the item to Colt, without having spoken to them over the phone? Finally, is there someone SPECIFIC working in Customer Service that anyone would recommend I contact? I know someone previously recommended I deal with Ryan over at LMT, and I have always been VERY glad I got that recommendation, because Ryan at LMT is great to deal with. Anyhow, thanks for the help here guys. (before anyone asks, NO, I do not have some major problem with any of my 6920's. Just a minor issue where I would like to send a couple parts in to Colt. As I said, it's a NON FFL, AR15 related Colt item). Thanks guys! |
