[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Compact 3x focus

One of the things I loved about my ACOG was that I could have both eyes open and both eyes in focus while using it. I could seamlessly switch between the magnified view and the other eyes 1x view. I've yet to find another scope that I can do that with. Is this possible with the PA compact 3x?

Not really sure. Let me do some comparisons with a Acog tomorrow and report back

Not sure if I can answer your question 100% but yes is is very easy to keep both eyes open and do a quick transition. You get a nice large open image. I think that is what you referring to that a Acog does over a conventional tube scope.
