| So I've got a ContourHD camera on order. These little cameras are awesome and you can get some pretty incredible footage with them. Unfortunately, there's no mounting option available for rails. Mounting it to ear pro is fine if all you want to do is film down the gun, but it would be nice to be able to have the camera on the gun or mounted to the rails on a helmet like the PT Alpha or the Ops Core helmets. I'm planning on taking an extra Scout mount so that I have QD capability for the camera and figuring out some ghettorific abortion of a mounting solution. It would be awesome if LaRue could swing the "T-Rail" that the camera uses attached to a Scout mount or otherwise so that it doesn't have to be attached with hot glue, rubber bands and sunshine and rainbows. What say ye, any interest? |
