Don't have any pics or video to post as I was at an indoor range (Reds in Pflugerville) and holy hell was it packed! (Funny part at the end)
Before I took 007 out I ran a patch or two with some MP Pro-7 down the barrel on on the bolt. My first LaRue riffle ever and never shot a riffle with a brake before. Shot a bunch of different kinds of ammo, some reloads and the rest was a mixed batch of brands. Didn't really care too much about getting the good stuff as I am just using my irons for awhile as I pay off my other two LaRue riffles on order. I was shocked that once I started sling-in lead that the front site barely even moved. After the first few rounds to make sure I was zeroed I just let them go pretty quick. My groupings were fantastic, even shooting with irons and at a very quick pace. I was shooting at 50 yards, semi rapid firing and the 30 round groupings could easily fit inside a lemon size target. Funny stuff: While I was shooting I kept seeing sparks fly off the top of the roof in the range. After a few WTF moments I stopped and looked to my left and saw this older lady, probably in her late 50's with a shotgun looking at me with a pissed off look. My buddy behind me walked up and told me that I guess the noise or slight concision put off by my brake was pissing her off. My buddy told me she kept calling me a C***Sucker to her older lady friend with her. After hearing this I put my rifle away, very please with it btw! It ran flawlessly I had also purchased a springfield-armory M1A Socom 16 a month ago and had not shot it either. So knowing that had a pissed off shooting neighbor I decided to run a few 7.62 rounds through her. After the first 20 round mag I felt a tap on my shoulder. I placed my rifle on the shooting bench and turned around to find the lady next to me starring at me. She called me a few times and gave me the bird and left.

Glad to hear it running like that for you... Shoulda had your bud snap a few pics or vids for ya... That old lady should be glad you weren't runnin a SBR with a Battle Comp 2.0.... I've had my own shootin buds whine about that thing.... WAHHHHHHHH, My sinuses or vaginusis or whatever hurts.....  |
