Don't post much, but thought I would send out a warning!
I missed out on the last two releases by seconds due to technical problems with computers and cell svc, so I have been looking hard for any that come up for sale. I found one last week and all the alarm bells are going off. Goofy story on ownership etc etc...says he lives in the Sherman TX area and area code on the phone numbers are from that area, but he only sends me pictures that I've seen before on the internet and will not send me any specific pics that I request. Does volunteer to meet me, but I know how that would go...no show. The pics he sends me are of 021, but I saw the real owner as srtsam listed in this thread How do we bust this punk?

Key to these guys is letting them sell up. They'll also have tons of other accessories you're probably looking for they'll let go of for the right price. So once we get four or five guys with the rifle (s), optic and light of their choice we'll compile all the emails and shoot that to him...and of course post the juicy details here.
Give up the addy and where all he's posted, I'm stuck at an airport and can go all day today

The first story I got on 021 was that it was a gift from the son-in-law and he wanted to sell it. No talk of having other items etc. He told me I could pay half and send the other half after I inspected it once it arrived at the FFL.
Will I be violating any forum rules posting his email addresses and phone #'s? I am going to speak to my LE friends and see how we could get him prosecuted. These punks that steal people's hard earned money burn my you know what! |

I guess he wants an easier target i.e. someone who just sends funds. I reckon I asked too many questions and he is not responding anymore.

I also contacted the one listed in Minnesota and got a quick response. He said his phone crapped out, so he couldn't talk on the phone about it but we could correspond through email??? He says it's 170, but after I asked for some detailed pics...nothing so far. |

This is the same one that is on Gun Broker listed in Cedar Park TX, with the same pictures. I bet it is the same crap head trying it again. I flagged his ad on TX Gun Trader as a scammer and it looks like it was removed. |
