Hello, I am in the process of buying an 11.5" bushmaster barrel. I had one in the past and remember it is heavier than I would like for this new project. I am interested in recommended profile demensions under the handguards and in front of the front sight. I plan on putting a sound suppressor on at some point if that will effect the recommendations as well. I am open to fluting part of the area if that will reduce the weight, but maintain strength.
