| Is there a 3rd party out there that would do a custom recticle on one of your HDII 1-6x's? I love that glass, the quality and the scope overall but I abhor that recticle that is in it. Any option yet to choose a more generic recticle? Or any advice on who to ask for a custom job? |

There is no company that I am aware of who can/will do a custom reticle for our scopes. There is no option to design your own custom reticle through us but we have definitely gotten that feedback for different reticles in the 1-6X a lot and we get a lot of our future product ideas directly from consumer feedback. Thanks again for the support. |

I'll add my two cents.
I am in the same debate. I am debating the Vortex and Leupold 1X6 and the horseshoe with dot is by far my preferred reticle and probably why I will go Leupold despite the additional cost. I don't think the Leupold is any better than the Vortex in terms of quality but when you are spending that kind of money, you want options. More reticle options would really make this a hugely attractive scope. |

I went around this weekend and tried a number of scopes, all 1-x. Trijicon, Leupold, US Optics, Swavorski, S&B, Vortex, Bushnell and SWSS. Out of all of them, I liked the Vortex Razor HD 1-6, the Leupold Tactical 1-8 and the S&B Short Dot 1-8 the most. But the Leupold and S&B were well out of my price range. I still couldn't get over that recticle however. Then I looked at a Vortex PST 1-4...not as great FOV, slightly less bright glass, but an exceptional recticle and one hell of a great price to boot.
I decided to go home with the PST 1-4 and hold out for a new Razor HD 1-6 recticle...perhaps the one that's in the PST?!? Hint Hint! |
