I bought a 14.5" midlength upper with Perm Phantom and DD lite rail 9.0 from you guys about 2...maybe 3 years ago.  When it got here, the top of the rail was BARELY lower than the top of the upper reciever.  I never thought this would be a problem so I just went with it and forgot about it.

Fast forward to now and my Christmas present is an M4 red dot clone and 3x multiplier from Primary Arms.  Now I actually need an optic to sit half on the upper and half on the top of the DD LITE Rail.....DOH.

How would I raise the top of the DD 9.0 LITE to match the elevation of the upper reciever?
The screws look all lock tited in and I hate to mess with somethign that has been trouble free for 2 or 3 years.  I also have no special DD wrenches or barrel wrenches of any kind, but am very mechanically inclined.

There is nothing you can do to raise the DD lite rail, the slight difference in height used to happen and its nothing more slight variances int he manufacturing of both the rail and the upper. Generally it is not a good idea to bridge your rail and upper with your optics mount regardless of the type of rail.

I'm assuming the aimpoint mount is a cross bolt style mount, basically just make you the cross bolt is in the receiver most forward rail slot and you should be just fine.
