How does this align over the gas port if the extended portion is behind the gas tube ?

The gas tube hole and small retaing pin positions look correct if viewing from the back.

I do see what you are talking about, but the extended portion of the gas block is actually in front of the gas port.

Your website says it will fit under all of your rails does this include the drop in FF Omega rails? I wanna put a rifle length omega on my middy.

This gas block along with all of our otther new versions is compatible with the Omega and Omega X series of rail systems. You will be good to go.
