After having my strikefire die during an outing a few months ago I removed and shelved it in favor of the simple life of iron sights. Figured it was a dead battery and no big deal.
Fast forward to today, my sons birthday. Having bought him an AR, he needs a rear sight or optic in order to go try it out. After mounting the strikefire we head out and get a new battery on our way out of town. No luck, strikefire is still dead. Double checked everything and reread instructions. Still no luck. Any thing I could be missing ? I have an email into their service dept, and expect good results after reading all the positive service comments. Just don't want to be the idiot that missed something simple. |

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your Strikefire. The NV switch was the first thing that came to mind but if you looked that part over already, I am not sure what happened. Sounds like you have already given our sevice team a heads-up. You're in good hands, but feel free to place a call sometime today if you're freed up. That might be even faster. I'm sure we can work out a good solution for you. Thank you. |
| I'm having the exact same problem. I contacted Vortex a few months ago, but between moving, a job promotion, etc, never got around to sending it in. Hoping to finally get it in the mailbox soon and get the optic back on my rifle. I've spoken a lot of good words about Vortex over the past 2 or 3 years, it goes without saying that good words arent worth a hoot with a non-functioning optic, lol. So, hopefully Mr. Mailman will be seeing a box in outgoing sometime soon. |
