I just purchased a complete upper from Del-Tons website, all the reviews I see on their products seem very positive. https://www.del-ton.com/AR-15-Barrel-Assembly-p/dt1038.htm What drew me to this upper is the medium contour 1/8 twist 16" barrel, to me it's a classic looking upper and not all tricked out. I'm going to keep it simple and mate it to my PSA stealth lower receiver, with just iron sights or a Holosun red dot sight. Anyone else use their uppers with success and like their products? |

I sold a Colt Hbar that I had reprofiled to a medium contour that was still a bit ungainly and decided to build a gun on a Del-Ton lower that I had left over. At the time a Del-Ton lightweight barrel was the only thing I could get a hold of, and they seemed to shoot quite accurately and consistently in tests I had watched. So it was, that my best shit went on a Del-Ton barrel and lower. I have no complaints. It shoots straight, is smooth shooting, and weighs the same as my bare Hbar with a light, backup sights, and a magnified optic.  20210325_102651 by Slick_Rick77, on Flickr 20210325_103121 by Slick_Rick77, on FlickrI like that their lightweight barrels use a standard .750 gas block diameter and ports are appropriately sized, unlike the monster ports a lot of manufacturers have gone to in recent years. |

| Mine has several hundred rounds through it now and I must say it a very enjoyable rifle to shoot. I have several other more expensive brand AR's, but this Del-Ton see's way more action than any of the others. Why, i'm not sure but it just does everything right and it's a soft shooting accurate rifle. |
