For a time when they arn't accepting orders (Dec 24-Jan 5), a lot of items seem to be going up then disappearing.... Whats the deal? I'm planning builds on these parts and plan to order these parts when they are open again, but it seems like they ARE accepting orders, and the parts are going bye-bye. WTF?

I ordered 4 pmags yesterday and received my shipping notice today.  I did not use the link on the top of the page but the one I have bookmarked.  I don't know why they say they are not taking orders because they took mine.

WTF.

That's really lame. Well, they just lost a good bit of money from me. Doubt they'll miss it. =\

Just put the items in the cart and buy them before someone else does. I know what the main page says, but I think they just need a little break.

They are accepting orders if you know how to get past the front page.

Yes, and I do. That's my point. I was able to look at stock which I "assumed" was going to be there until January 5th, but they are still taking orders and not telling us. Now my parts are gone because I chose to believe their front page, imagine that. Guess the lesson learned is... don't believe their front page, just order away.

Assumption is a dangerous business.     The more dedicated customers of PK Firearms knows they take orders, even when the frontpage says it's down.

I've probably ordered $9k or $10k from them while their sight was "down".   You just have to constantly hit their site all times of the day to see what they have available.

Besides, even if they weren't going to process orders till the 5th, you should have ordered anyway to be first in line.  Had you waited till the 5th, you'd have had 50 people in front of you.

Look at it this way, now you know, and most people still do not.  So the next time stuff comes up available and the website is "down", you'll be the one who is more likely to get stuff.

There probably is not anyone in the office. The merchant page might automatically handle inventory.
