| Anyone have any experience with the PA Drop In quad rails? |

It's very sturdy. No wiggle, no jiggle. Took me about 5 minutes to install. The only thing I didn't really like was the length of the supplied screws was a bit long. IIRC, the originals were 16mm. I swapped them out for some 12mm that sit flush when installed. Be sure to put a drop of blue Loctite on the threads. As far as heat transfer, it it does get pretty hot under sustained fire. However, installing a VFG or AFG reduces most discomfort. I've used both the Magpul XTM Rail Panels and their ladder rail protectors and I think the XTM does a better job of reducing heat transfer to skin. Bottom line is I would buy them again. Hope this helps. ETA: typo |
