They are correctly weighted right?
Will they reliably feed and chamber with paint on them?
I'm wanting to do a Pmag test that has not yet been done before and want to use dummy rounds because I'm not so sure it would be safe not to...

Thanks!
Also if you come up with any suggestions for what to do to a couple of Pmags let me know.
(How about things that haven't been done before.)

They work fine for me. Haven't painted em though although they need it really badly. You can't even tell they are in the chamber
idk who thought the black was a good idea or if there is some reason I am not getting?

They're very light but feed and extract like a normal round.

So they don't duplicate the weight?...
Damn, I'd better do the test live then...

One reason I can think of: Black is already the industry & military standard color to indicate dummy rounds.

I think orange would be a great color, "military spec" or whatever be damned. Also maybe cheaper......

Probably not cheaper.  Magpul has said elsewhere that the dummy rounds are made from excess material from their other product production.  They don't make much orange product.

Then again, maybe the hunting market is ready for blaze orange UBRs and MOEs?
