First time out with the Resistance 45. Installed 1/2x28 piston and 9mm endcap. Must have let it get loose on the barrel threads because I somehow shot the endcap a bit. Baffles are fine though so no real harm.

Reminder too keep an eye out for looseness, especially when its new and you don't have a good feel for what is "normal".

There is a lot of violent vibration going on in the tilt barrel unlocking sequence so it is impossible to have a thread be compatible with production threads, AND be impervious to inadvertent loosening.  

If we made the threads tighter than class 3 fit, there would be a lot of barrels that wouldn't fit pistons.   Check tightening pistol cans often is a good practice.

Tagging for this response. A buddy of mine just asked me why it would loosen during shooting and I couldn't give a good answerÂ
