I know the idea of upgrading the throw levers on the Eotech 553 have been ruled out, but what about the new EXPS models? These look doable.

I just wish there was a way for them to make a completely new QD base for the 556/557 to replace the stock screw-clamp design. My 556 has twice the battery life of the XPS models

It looks like you could remove those two screws and put a whole new base on there. Not too dissimilar to my LT CQ/T Mount.
