I ordered this upper from Primary Arms and everything seems decent except the rear takedown pin hole is hammer and punch tight. It is impossible to get it apart or together without tools. This lower has been on multiple other uppers without issue.

I love the rail and the sights but the lack of information given about the barrel, bcg, and bolt has me a little worried. Anyone know where I can find specs about this? I have sent Troy an email Friday about the rear takedown pin hole and I will see if they respond this coming week. I hope I can get this resolved because I like the upper a lot and should serve its purpose as a beater/plinker just fine.

Is anyone else having the same issues?

Troy is claiming there is nothing wrong with the upper...

That's odd because both my lowers have never had this issue with multiple other uppers I've tried with them.

Any chance you could send it in for them to examine?  I have one of their uppers and it fits fine in my PSA lower so it seems like you may have gotten one just a little out of spec.

I've had a couple like that over the years. I'm about 2-300 rounds it will loosen up. I carry a littple plastic punch from Bushmaster in my grip.
