Ok guy need some info, i have an RRA 308 and order a FAL 5 round hunting mag and when i slip it in, it goes way way up in the mag well and will not eject can't even get my finger in the mag well to pull it out!  So what to do? I don't know if it legal to glue two 5 rds together and hunt here in MI?

How 'bout this for a ghetto solution: Remove the floor plate and drill 2 holes in the floor plate, one behind the other, about 1 - 1 1/2 inches apart. Slip a piece of paracord through each of the holes and tie a knot on the upper (inside) of the floor plate. You now have a little loop lanyard there to yank the mag out with.

The magwell on an actual FAL isn't nearly as "long" as that on the LAR-8.  Your best bet (for now) is to block a 20rd mag so that it can only hold five rounds, and then pin or spot weld the floorplate so that the 5 rounds becomes its "permanent" capacity.
When the polymer mags start coming out of th emold, a 10rd mag pinned to 5 rounds is one of our highest priorities.

To make a paracord magpul stiffer, pull the little white strings out of the paracord and put a ziptie down the middle of the green part.
