OK, this is embarassing.
I've got one FSB taper pin that I just can't budge. I've ruined two Nail Sets on this one, after using penetrant and heat four times (and a 4# hammer). Looks like I've probably slightly mushroom-ed the hardened taper pin now. Does ADCO offer a service to get this frustrating little pin out of my rifle barrel? If so, I'll be buying the re-parkerizing for the front sight too...I've slipped a few times  and the FSB looks like hell around the pin holes now.
Again, this is embarassing, I've never, ever had this kind of trouble with pins before (done this without a problem at least a half-dozen times). |
