I have just bought an upper and lower from Palmetto, (Lower=PSA AR-15 Complete Blem Lower Magpul MOE Edition - Black, No Magazine - 37403) (Upper=PSA AR15 18" Rifle Length .223 Wylde 1:7 Stainless Classic Upper - NO BCG or CH - 7792330). I have read a lot of reviews and, in general, they are very positive. But there have been some real stinkers. But to get started the price was right.
My question is when I go to pickup lower any key things to look at before accepting? I have read that best stuff comes with an LW prefix on serial number.... Any help would be appreciated... I bought the 223 Wylde chamber because I shoot 30 cal service matches and might may want to try my hand at modern service rifle matches.....I know it is not national match but I don't want to spend too much to see if I like the AR platform. Also plan on getting SC25-45 upper for hunting. |

As with any mail order item, be sure to inspect the upper for any cosmetic issues before accepting (scratches, damage, etc). While we ship the uppers in double cardboard and protective foam, never underestimate the destructive power of a package carrier, or clumsy FFL. In the unlikely event you have any mechanical issues, the upper and lower are covered under warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. |
