Got my first shot at the range with my new Stealth 18".  Where have you been all my life??
65 degrees, about a 5 mph wind.

The setup:

Larue Stealth 18" with 12" handguards
Stag model 8R Lower (soon to be replaced with a LaRue lower with a Magpul PRS stock, HURRY MARK!)
Leupold Mark AR 4-12 x 40mm scope (excellent scope with excellent eye relief)
LT-104 Mount
Harris bipod with LaRue mount
Magpul magazine
LaRue black index clips
Federal XM193 55 Grain

Hoppes Competition target at 100 yards

The Rifle:

The 5 shot group:

First day out, a 5 shot .562 group!!  This is has to be the most accurate AR-15 platform that I have ever shot.  This group is with the last 5 rounds of the first magazine through the rifle (although there will be many, many more!).  I have to commend Mark on building such an excellent product.  I knew this rifle would be better than the Stag 8 that I have, but I didn't realize how much better it would be.  The fit, finish and, most importantly the accuracy is second to none.  I am happy I was able to do justice to such a fine piece of equipment.  I have Hornady Tap 75 grain ammo on the way, and from what I understand the heavier bullet the better with the stealth.  If this is true, I am looking forward to the one ragged hole!!

The only bragging that I intend with this post is for the rifle.  I wonder what an expert could do with it?

Thanks again Mark!!!  An excellent rifle that I would recommend to anyone.

Thanks guys.  May have to make another trip to the range tomorrow.

It was like a perfect storm.  Mounted the Leupold, fired 3 shots and the only adjustment necessary was 6 clicks to the left.  I have to say I am very happy with both the rifle and the scope.  If you ever need a new one, the Mark AR is an excellent scope, bright and crystal clear.
