Took the rifle out, missing the front pivot detent and spring, with the pin just kinda hanging in there.
Put 90 rounds through it, no problems on the rifle; had 4 bad primers (American Eagle XM193, all the same batch). Brass wore off onto the deflector and the bolt face, wiped off with my thumb! Nice sound to it, sounds nice and sexy with electronic protection. Rough zero at 25 yards, shot high and to the left about 4-5 inches, corrected it to 1-2 inches. Not a Larue or a LWRC, but it works perfectly for me, since I dont plan on shooting out to 500 with it! Pin hung in through it all, nothing broke, nothing rattled, bolt is still intact, carrier glides smoothly, firing pin still there, no parts missing. All the stiffness that was in the action is effectively gone, and it shoots with a smooth trigger pull. Now if they'll offer a 14.5 kit, I'll buy one of those and test it out at my own expense, unless they'll lend me a couple pallets of ammo
Conclusion: ADDICTED |

You need more time on the bench. |
