Batteries test out ok, and there is full continuity on the lamp.  Does this mean the lamp is dead? This is an almost brand new light so Im hoping I dont need a new lamp already.

It sounds like a premature lamp failure, there has been a small rash of such failures of P60's lately.  I will certainly replace it for you or you can call SF and they'll replace it for you also.

Just let me know.
