Is this light suitable for a weapons light on an AR? Considering mounting one with a IWC mount n slot type mount.
Thanks. |

It can be used but hate to see it used on heavily used weapon... the concern is potential wear to the positive contact point internally, after a fewl thousand rds. it could possibly create wear on the contact. |

Surefire 6P and upgrade it with a Malkoff LED lamp... all of which are notably less than a Scout light. Please feel free to email us or give us a call and I'd be happy to go through the recommendations. Thanks, Kevin |

We have used twenty (20) G2X lights on heavily used guns without any issues.
Two of them had over 20k rds through them. We have since upghraded to the Fury which has 500 lumens vice the 200 lumens. We have eight (8) of them in service now. The Fury is a much more efficient light for the carbine Hope this helps. |
