I just ordered a GLx 1x and I plan to put it on my A2 rifle. Does the mounts included, include a mount for the carry handle? And also, is it see through? I would still like to use my iron sights. If not, a link to the mount I need would be helpful. I’m excited to try a prism optic again. I wish the GLx 2x had had no knob on the side. It would have been perfect. |

Yes the mount is included and it does have an iron sight pass through, however, you'll need the "Carry Handle Hardware" in order to mount directly to the carry handle. I believe I have the hardware kit and if not I’ll order it. I’m excited to try this optic out. This is my do all rifle and one I would grab should the world as we know it ends tomorrow. It’s why I picked the GLx 1x. |

Will do! It will be a bit before I get it attached. I’m taking care of my father who is in the last stages of dementia. I also agree that this might be the best option for a carry handle. Would you guys ever do a 1x with just the chevron? I would also love this generation of prism to have the Aurora reticle. I have that in an LPVO and love it. Would a 1x and the Aurora reticle with a magnifier work? If so that would be the ultimate package. |

I got the 10-32x1/2" Carry handle mount but the screw will only turn about 3/4 rotation into my SLX 1x Microprism before stopping. I really dont want to force it and strip the optic or screw, is it supposed to be incredibly tight? Edit: just went ham and tightened it. Not a fan of just the optic on the carry handle, felt a little too far forward for me and the reticle seemed very far to the right centered over the right wing of the FSB. I put on the low cantilever to move it back a little and REALLY like it, and the reticle is centered over the front sight. Attached File I really need a better can for this setup, the shitty form 1 can from 2012 is just not cutting it these days. Maybe the new PSA can or a OCL Polo K in FDE? |
