Is there a recommended buffer weight for this system? I am running an H2 buffer and having cycling issues.

The GXR-35 was and is designed as a drop in kit for the standard military M4 rifle, which still uses a standard CAR type buffer(at least for a little while longer).

To assist you more I would like to know the type of issue your having? Also the parts used in your rifle and the types of ammuntion used?

Thanks

Is there a list of HGs that fit the piston system?  I'd like to run a free float system and was wondering if you guys have a list of HGs that will work.

Handguards that immediately come to mind are the Daniel Defense Gas-Piston Omega Rail, the A.R.M.S. SIR style handguards, the Vltor CAS-V (with very slight modification), one by Midwest and the LWRC model. I'm under the impression that there is a thread somewhere on arfcom that addresses the different handguards that folks have used with the GXR-35 drop-in kits; if I can find it I'll post the link here.

Ive been looking around and havent found a thread talking about what HGs fit.  If i modified the Midwest SS Series barrel nut, do you think it would fit/work?  I just dropped off MI SS barrel nut with the machinist to have one turned from steel.

I'm open to other HGs, but i'd like to stick with the "longer" HGs on the market.

how about the spikes BAR set up? 1.79 ID?

Just an FYI for people searching in the future, Spikes says that thier BAR system would need modification.

do you have an inner diameter requirement?

Will the Knight RAS rail work?
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

No the RIS will not work.

From the installation pdf drawing on your website, the gas piston bolt carrier appears to be "M16" configuration on the bottom (where it would contact the auto sear).  I own an M16...is the bolt carrier M16 style on the bottom such that it would work in full auto firing?

Thank you

The carrier is M16 style and is designed for use in select-fire weapons.

There are several rail handguard options that work quite well with the GXR-35. Some that immediately come to mind are the Midwest drop-in handguards for pistons and the Daniel Defense Gas Piston Omega Rail. The Midwest is excellent but not free floating; the Daniel Defense is also excellent but is free floating. So price and free float considerations will be you main drivers between the two. Thanks.

I am assuming that you have .223/556 cal upper assembly.
There is a chance you have defected/misfeeded magazine.
You want to check your mag spring and follower.
I have problem with cyclic issue and use standard H2 buffer and extra power spring for AR15/M4.
