What version of the Mist are your guys currently stocking ?
From my understanding there are a few different ones out there, one with the port hole drilled about a 1" away from the chamber, another with the port opening further yet away from the chamber, and then the version without any port hole at all. If its the ported out version does Gemtech offer to upgrade to the Non ported version ? . If so is there any cost to the owner ? I am planning on running only subsonic ammo through it, but I go back and forth with this. If running supersonic ammo through the ported version I assume it would still be louder than shooting subsonics ? I currently have a Sparrow, and a Gemtech alpine, both work well but I am on a search for the maximum sound reduction for a 22, integral seems like it may be the way to go. Though about using the PWS-Summit action with the mist, but keep reading conflicting reports with that action on how well its made, maybe it was some of the earlier models though THanks for your help |

The MIST that we carry is the current generation with the port drilled.
As far as modifying it that would be a question for GEMTECH. Yes even supers though the ported will be louder than subs. The PWS Summit has worked great for us. Combined with a MIST that would be a super quiet setup. |
