| Would a upper ship faster then a complete kit. I bet everyone is ordering the same m4 kits, is it backordered cause of that or the volume of orders period? |

I've been paying close attension to Del-Ton's theads and posts since late February when I placed my all standard Middy kit order #33283 Feb. 27, 2009. It comes straight from Del-Ton that small parts are being dedicated to builds only. I'm not 100% sure that uppers would be included but I would assume stripped uppers would be considered small parts along with Lower Parts Kits (LPKs), sights, Bolt Carrier Groups (BCGs), triggers, etc., etc., etc.
Finding AR parts has evolved into an artform somewhat like finding your coworker's favorite fishing hole and/or hunting grounds. I wish you luck.
