Has anyone here purchased the Aimpoint Micro Combo for the Glock or just the mount and installed an Aimpoint Micro to their Glock? I'm looking to add a RDS to my G17 and just wanted some feedback before I buy.

Baergunner,

My wife and I just got back from the NRA Annual Meeting where we purchased an Aimpoint H1 (4 MOA) for the her G17.  We were then getting ready to order the Aimpoint Mount for the G17 but decided not to and just use the H1 with an absolute LT 751 mount for another carbine.

We started having concerns about finding a holster to accept the H1.  We talked to some friends and are now looking at either the Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint.

I very much like the RMR at 1.2 oz, but the DeltaPoint is .6 oz, so its half the weight.  .

we will use a side armour OWB holster and just need to check fit for both options

We are looking into the durability of the DeltaPoint now and may end up with that RDS for the G17

Good luck

Have you seen this? It may be the best option. I don't know how to make things hot

Yeah, I watched the Costa M&P9C RDS video before. I think though it'd be way easier to work the slide with the Aimpoint Micro instead of the RMR or DeltaPoint. I also had the holster question as well but I think my Raven will let the optic clear for a full seat of the pistol. I'm not dead set on the Aimpoint Micro yet either.

Well this is what your handgun will look like if you had  an aimpoint micro. The choice is yours.

I bought it, took it to the range 5 times, and took it off. I just couldn't reaquire the red dot after a shot as quickly as I could with night sights.
