Gosh this thing just keeps getting bumped back! I really don't want to wait a few more weeks. I've had it ordered since June ( I know some of you have been waiting since April). Can someone reasure me that this is going to be REALLY worth my money because I'm about to just cancel my order and get a nice set of BUISs,If this thing is not seriously excellent (doesn't have to be Aimpoint quality).  I really want this scope but the waiting is really wearing me down. I know VortexSam is working his butt off to get them out (I'm not mad at him) I just can't decide what to do.

Yeah, I trust Vortex that the production is underway, but I'm getting annoyed at the fact that it keeps getting pushed back. I don't know if I want to wait longer. Besides, I could get something else for my AR with the money ,if I cancelled the order. That may be my best option. I don't know if Vortex is cutting quality to get quantity. I'm not destroying the idea of me getting a Strikefire, but it may be better to get one in maybe 3-4 monthes just so its not an "if" I am getting one, if you know what I mean.
....I still can't quite decide....

I'm i nthe same boat as you all. I dont want to be be terminally on hold for one. Since I see many have preordered liek months ago and have  not rec'd theirs yet, it might be a couple of months before i can even see any in stock in the stores.

I'm gonna call SWFA today. I don't want to discourage anyone from buying one. I think I'll get one later though: I'm sure you guys won't be disapointed in the product, but as for me, I'm out.

I must appolagize for not giving you all warm fuzzies.....
I cancelled mine (some other sap can have my "place in line") when Sam deleted my posts and got an Eotech that same day and ordered a mount which I recieved by the end of the week (imagine that) went shooting last weekend and will again this one...but you guys wont because ....what another delay???
I see Sportsmans Guide is stating direct shipping,I think I suggested that in a couple of my (deleted)posts so if Vortex follows through,you guys can probably thank me for that,since nobody else will stand up for themselves.....
Its been fun stirring the pot with ya all......

Once again, you are wrong. We sent another shipment of them out last week like we said, at the end of September.

This is a new product that has a LOT of demand. Other sights have been out on the market for years so it's no surprise that they are in plentiful supply. Eventually ours will be too, but it takes patience while we fill the initial demand.

Maybe I should have specified that I ordered the low mount.  Just another reason to avoid the AR-15 platform.

Order from SFWA. After a 6 month wait, tracking # says it will be here friday!!!!

I just ordered the low mount from midwayusa.com.  They had it in stock at the time I ordered.  Hope to zero it on the AK soon.

Well guys I'm getting my 500rds tommorrow! I've been out of town for a week and am just getting cought up with the current Strikefire news. I've heard something about something about a horrible reflection inside the unit? Does anyone know anything about that?

I think i saw it but its not that bad to be honest. I think its probably the best sight for the price. Mount is solid, the dot is bright enough, and it taking all i ve given it with my ar pistol.
