I was just checking on another order and I thought I would look at the date I placed my order for my PredatOBR. I noticed a handling fee. Saw that their was one on the Costa I ordered as well. Anyone have insight as to what this fee is for? Not shipping or insurance. Is it the box? Any ideas? I get it they are in business to make money and I don't have any issue with that. I was just wondering what this fee might be.

Gun handling fee (1) - PredatOBRâ„¢ 7.62 16.1 Custom:$29.95

That and I am sure Mark could charge admission and let folks handle the rifles .

Did you ask for something to be installed on the weapon?
You know, like something that's not standard.

It's a standard fee on all the rifles.  With the box, additional shipping cost, and BATFE paperwork associated with shipping a firearm, it sounds fair.

This.  I think it started early this year, although I could be wrong.  My orders back as far as March have them.

Just part of the price of buying a LaRue rifle.  Add it to the price, seperate it as a line item, whatever, it's all the same.

It costs roughly around 22-25 bucks to ship one. Plus case, paperwork etc.  30 bucks is more than justifiable.
