PSA, why do y'all use the triangular handguard caps so much? Ever upper I have ordered has them and I have to change it out with a round cap so I can out Magpul handguards on it. And unfortunately y'all don't offer any uppers with the MOE SL handguards which would save me from the trouble all together.

Thank you for the inquiry.

Triangle is the industry standard for the mid-length gas barrel, and mil-spec for Rifle length gas.

Round is the industry standard for carbine gas, and also the mil-spec for the M4.

Don't know why Magpul chose to model a non-standard cap for the mid-length.

Just had to do the same thing. The triangle caps come on a lot of rifles and to use SL's got to have rounds but moe fit with triangle.

The original MOE was designed to fit round or triangular handguards. Why Magpul got lazy with the SL, I don't know so I didn't bother with the SL for my midlength or rifles. I just went straight to freefloat.  I bought a carbine SL handguard to use on my work rifle. Feels good.

Thanks for the clarification. Since I never bought complete rifles or uppers until I ordered from PSA I was not aware of that.
