Im fixing to order eather a 11 or 13 in hardguard from larue, but wondering what to do as far as my gas block.  I have the FSB pinned to the barrel currently thinks its called a2?  Would it be best to try to grind it down and see if it fits under the handguard.  Or does larue sell a low pro gas block, didnt see it on there website.  Would prolly have to be a clamp on as my barrel isnt dempled, and i cant seem to find anyone locally to do that.

Which would be my best bet to fit under this hardguard, heard it might be a tighter fit than a YHM free float, which is the only thing i have messed with.  Which way would you go?

So being that my barrel isnt dempled you think i should have it done and go this route vs a clamp on or cutting down my FSB

A clamp-on almost certainly won't fit under a LT rail, but I could be mistaken.  As to whether a ground down FSB would fit, I will defer to someone who has tried.

An A2 FSB will make it but it'll take a good amoumt of time to make it look anywhere "nice."  Dimpling the barrel sure is nice but not necessary.  Personally, i've always been very happy with the Vltor low profile, clamp-on gas blocks.  And they DO fit under LaRue HG's.
