| Looks like it was installed on a Weaver rail or not locked down on a pic rail correctly and fired multiple times. I'd dremel off the excess damaged material from the lugs and see if it locks up tight with no forward or backwards movement. Did you know it was damaged before you bought it? |

I knew it looked like that before the purchase but this was my first LaRue mount so was unaware that the small knicks would affect the end product. |

This ^^^ That will work just fine on a AR. Those little sections of material that were moved will not come into contact with anything on a flat top AR rail. As stated, it looks like it was installed on a Weaver rail. |
