Ok here is what I got. I have a 6p surfire flashligh and a bushmaster M4/A2. I have the standard forend on my bushmaster right now. I am not a rich man, therefore I cannot afford to buy a dedicated forend light from surefire for 500 bucks. So I am looking to make due with what I got. Can you tell me what would be the most cost effective setup for my situation.

First off, you don't have to pay $500 for a dedicated forearm assy.  If you'll contact me with what you're after you can see that there are various options and prices aren't so extreme.
