So I ordered my 4x compact scope on Wednesday, by Wednesday afternoon it was in the mail and it was in my postman's hands on my doorstep Saturday. Unfortunately I wasn't home so the postman took it back with him but I saw on the delivery confirmation that a "notice has been left". After looking all over my house/mailbox I couldn't find this notice and went to the local post office carrier (after getting a short run-a-round). After I explained the situation they explained to me that they really have no way of telling where the package is in their shop and that they would look for it and give me a call when they find it. Sooooooooo here we go again, I've never had good luck with USPS but maybe they can redeem themselves (quickly I hope).

I just want my scope

BTW Primary arms that was awesome shipping, really if I was home I would have had it the 3rd day from the time I clicked "submit order".

+1 on USPS, ever been reamed by FEDEX?

I am pretty much down to UPS when it comes to who I let ship my gun related items.

FEDex got me once, but other than that I've had good luck with them. USPS honestly the 20 times I've used them I've gotten screwed maybe 7ish. Which is awful really I should never have a problem (UPS )

I shipped a LR 308 barrel with gas block and float tube to a guy in FLA. Someone in the post office between here and there "STOLE IT". plain and simply stolen. There is no other way that tube could have come open. Even if it was an accident a 24 inch SS tube makes a little noise when it hits the floor. Somone should have picked it up and re-taped the package. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! No wonder they are going under. Just another government run money pit.Tax payers probably make up the difference in the wages for the slugs that work there.

I am out!

USPS does the same thing at my place, but they notice tag they leave on the door gives me the option of picking it up at the local PO or asking them to redeliver. I prefer to pick stuff up at the PO because I'm almost never hear during the day to receive stuff so it works out perfectly. UPS insists on making three attempts before they will either leave it on my doorstep for all the world to steal or finally take it back for will call. That plus 9 years doing shipping receiving where I saw UPS do absolutely mystifying damage to packages of steel stampings. They even leave their failed delivery notice stuck to my note asking them to hold it at will call. I'll take USPS over them at every opportunity.

+100 for USPS

It looks like it was returned for insufficient address. I left town with the PO box key.

I get back from a week of training at Rifles Only Thursday night and will get it back out Friday.
