I have been looking to buy a pre ban for some time.I have found one recently but it has a device that holds two clips on it.I can not read what it is.. I know that the serial number is MNO with 5 digits behind it and have been told it was made in about 88 or 89.... Can anyone tell me what it is or were I can find out... Thanks |

Sounds like you have a Redi-Mag on the lower of a R6601. R6601s had serial numbers in the "MH" range. I don't think there were any in the "MN" range. If I'm right, your gun was probably made in the early nineties, not the late eighties. Also, it should have an A2 stock, A2 sights, and a 20" 1/7 Hbar barrel with no bayonet lug. Let me know if I'm close. |

You were correct I made a type-o it is MHO.,Thanks.. The information you have provided me tells me that the upper must not be the original.It has a 16 inch barrel,bayo-lug,and bird cage, A2 sights on a removable handle,and 3 position collapsible. Do you now anything about colt stamped halo sights I think it is called?? |
