I bought a Keymod 24" upper that has a melonited barrel.... I would like to see if it could be rechambered in .22 Nosler.
Could someone from PSA please tell me if the chamber is melonited ? In all honesty, I can't quite tell if it is. Thank You . (Title Edited by PSA) |

| On the topic of barrels, are 416r or 4150 cmv barrels better for everyday use? Most of the forums online that discuss this usually pertain to higher end barrels. I am interested in the “lower end” ones that are included in PSA barreled uppers in terms of longevity and accuracy. |

Where common “416” gets brittle at freezing temperatures, 416-R is formulated to function in arctic conditions (typically recommended to -40 F).
