[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is this normal?

Ordered a set of Larue/Troy sights. By looking at the logo on the rear sight it appears as if it had been scuffed or somehow is not as clean as the front sight logo. Anybody else come across this? Here are some pics.

Looks like the laser muffed that one a bit, and it got by our QC.

We can exchange that for you if you want.

It's because one side of the mount clamps the rail, the other below the rail. Set it flat, and it looks canted.

As to the logo...rub your finger over it several times, and it'll look noticeably faded. The secret to keeping the logo fresh looking? Don't touch!
