| Need info has anyone used the JP .936 Aluminum adjustable Gas Block on their LAR-8? I have A LAR-8 308 heavy varmint. |

Only problem might be the height and location of the gas tube hole/tunnel.
The through hole in the receiver is higher, and our LAR-8 gas blocks are both taller and the hole location is different to allow for that and to keep the gas tube from angling up rather than going straight into the key. Steve/RRA |
| Steve thanks for the reply. I was looking at the JPGS-3 gas block and I see what you mean by size and hole location. The JP is very similar in size to what is on my rifle but there is no way to be certain unless I had RRA specs and JP specs to compare. I have emailed JP waiting for their response. Thanks Mike |

If it's higher than a standard 223 gas block (approx. the same as an LAR-8 block) it might be usable....you just don't want the gas tube going into/through the receiver at an angle that will result in it either hitting the gas key or going into it at an angle and destroying itself on the key.

| Steve I don't think that will be a problem because I installed the gas tube to the gas block first and it slide right on just like it was made for it. I did it that way because if there was a slight difference in height it would have given me some resistance going into the receiver wouldn't you think so? I will check for ware often and let you know if I see any wear. Thanks Mike |
