We are currently working with a Marine who lost both his legs in an IED attack while serving in Afghanistan in 2011. At a Soldiers Journey Home we have made it our mission to help these wounded veterans return from combat and live as normal of a life as they can. Cody is a 31 year old native of East Tennessee. He was seeking a little direction in life and wasn't sure where to turn. He decided that the Military would give him the direction he needed. After joining and serving in Afghanistan he was critically wounded in an IED attack. Once he was stabilized in Afghanistan he was flown to Germany where he spent 4 days. Once Cody was stable enough to travel he was flown back to the States and spent almost a year at Walter Reed medical center recovering. He is currently living with his mother Regina in his childhood home. Cody was selected as the next wounded warrior to have a house built specifically for him designed for his needs. His build is set to begin May 14, 2016 and will be completed in 7 days. On May 21st we will hand Cody the keys to his brand new, mortgage-free home. Cody, Willie (Cody's Service Dog), and Regina will be able to live a much simpler life than they are currently. So with the back story in place.... A few weeks ago I asked Cody how he would like getting out and shooting on a 1000 yard range that we have in Knoxville. He was pysched. He had always wanted to try long distance shooting. So we packed up the car one Thursday afternoon, took off work and headed to Oak Ridge, TN. Cody met Brian (owns several LaRue products) and myself out there and off we went. Started out at the 200 range and realized that we were incredibly too close. So we headed back to the 600 yard line and that is where Cody decided to embarrass us. Using a PredatAR 7.62 with some Black Hills ammo, Cody shot out the marker using the same shot placement as the round before. There is nothing better than raining plastic shards all over the pit area from the markers exploding! Since then, he has talked about your rifle and how he is going to be buying one of the PredatAR 7.62's next. We are planning a fundraising event in April utilizing the range and Cody's only request was that he got to use the LaRue rifle otherwise he wasn't going to win! We are a small organization and Cody is our third build. We were wondering if you could help us get the word out. We are a 100% non-profit organization. No one is paid and we use personal time and expenses when we travel and build. The team consists of mostly active and retired Firefighters. Each build we have approx. 85-100 firefighting volunteers who take a week off to make this dream a reality. We do that so 100% of everything we raise goes to the Soldier. They are the reason we do what we do and the reason we have what we have today. We would not have it any other way. http://www.asoldiersjourneyhome.org Thanks again for everything you do and the amazing products you build! Sincerely, Stephen Arvan and A Soldiers Journey Home Team |

Are you giving number 1 away again? |

Daggum Mark!
If I wasn't about to buy a house, I'd be all over it. That is a GORGEOUS rifle. Reading that letter compels me to echo that sentiment; thank you for all you and your firm do for our warfighters! Hat's off to you, sir! |

Our forefathers would be shooting by now.

As always, you're a classy guy, Mark. You sure do help out a lot of people. Wish I could swing one of these. But not sure I could raise funds in under 24 hours. 125 in the first batch. Not too shabby. Anyone wanna buy any guns so I can afford one? lol

I bet these are gone in under 5 minutes. Also, it doesn't say these have a wait time. Is that the case or how long till these go out? At first I thought they were UDE but FDE is cool too. |

Well, incoming EE listings. If anyone wants to sell a regular 16" 7.62 tAR, I'm looking... Unfortunatley not. Beretta M9A3, a US Optics SN-3 1.8-10x, and an AR with 16" Tar barrel (5.56).

IDK why but the number 39 is very special to me...
