I talked to my dealer before he left for SHOT 2011 about getting a CAR A4. He ordered mine and a few more the first day of SHOT. Now the waiting begins. 30 to 45 days.    I have lusted after this particular gun every since I shot my buddy's at the range. I was very impressed with it. It was a quality gun with good fit and finish. This is my first AR and I am very anxious to get it.

Now is the time to satisfy that lust by picking up decent mags, ammo, etc...so you can go play when it does come in.

Running a Tactical CAR A4 upper on my ST-15 since 2005; no problems whatsoever; very reliable and the 1/9 rifling can handle anythign from the 55 gr wolf to the 62 gr IMI M855 without a hiccup.

Thinking of going Middy with a 14.5 middy with a perm Vortex and a 12" DD Lite.
